This Lighthouse (one of my loves) is at Lighthouse Point in New Haven. One of the very few you can get to on land. Lots of them are in a gated community or someone's back yard and of course public NOT ALLOWED o yes and that is posted. But this on is very excisable others are on a island just off shore and they say you can see them by boat well hello, I don't have a boat. A 38 Ft with a tow is long enough. And to rent a boat well I would have to sell a child and that's not going to happen.
This little man just left one of those little markets that is in that red building. This is the common site to go to market. Their is very few large grocery stores and super walmart I don't think so they aren't allowed in most towns in the New England area only Ma and Pa. Which is fun to go in except you don't want to pay the price. Some what out of order but I had to show you this carousel that was on the grounds with the Lighthouse. It is in a enclosed building. They have to close it in to save is from the saltwater air. You cant see the detail on the animals but is is exquisite. I was so glad the Ladies that was there getting ready for some kind of except let me in to take the picture. It is starting to rain, but we have got most every thing ready to leave in the morning for Ohio. We will be in Penn. For the night then on to Ohio.

The first picture is the Beach at Hammonasset. Hard to tell here but is was very pretty. They don't have the white sand we have in the South!!!!, but it was A beach so I was fine. The next one is of the Beach in Clinton, CT. Most of the Shore line is own by individual's and you are NOT aloud to touch it. So what you see is just about all you get. Oh yes and NO DOGS allowed. These aren't Dogs you see they are our Fur Children. Molly and Lucy. Molly wants in the water and Lucy was scared to death. She said no way hosa.
This is at Clinton right on the beach. As we were walking right by the water I looked to the side at all the Golden Rod and there was butterfly's every where.

Good morning to all, it is a beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky and its 58 at 8:30 AM Tuesday. This is the entrance of the park where we are staying. When we first got here I was like your kidding, this is a fishing low grade camp. But I was wrong, their are a lot of people that live here year around. Richards had to set up to the right of the curve you can see and we are straight ahead. A little inconvenient, but we are making it only have 4 more nights. The owners are very nice and have enjoyed our stay. Their is a pond right in front of us with a fountain in the center. Forgive me for calling it a fishing camp.
This is a Church (lol) we saw in Pa and it looks like my Abby that's a part of the Dickens Village.
As you can see I love steeple's, it doesn't madder what the domination I love the architecture and the more ornate the more I love them. This is St Marys in Waterbury, CT. We drove over on Sat in the rain. Sorry about the color and quality had a setting wrong. Will try to do better after these .
Isn't it beautiful!

Had no idea where we were and looking for NBC and found CBS. These buggy's are at Central Park They were every where. I have the rear end and the head of two of the horses so I guess that equals a whole horse. Hey I did good to get this shot. With horns blowing and Sonny saying where do you want me to go now. I did good to get this. Well so much for my tour of NYC hope you enjoyed some of what we saw.
This was a Mexican Parade in Downtown Manhatten all trafic is stopped then they let a few cars through the parade is spaced so the police can let a block of cars through. This picture is looking down Broadway. What a site. Looking down the street is Rochfellow Center and Radio Center, That is where NBC is at that time I didnt know until I looked at pictures on PC that is where we were. Will know better if there is a next time.
Another side of the Empire State buliding. This is a Market to buy (The local A & P) grocerys and from what i could see it looked like it would have all the grocerys that you would want to carry in your hand or a rolling cart.

This is one of those famous NYC Taxi Cabs. They are every where and yes they will tell you where to go in a NY minute. When we saw this building we thought it was the Empire State Building, It isnt so we named it Empire State Building the First.
It ought to be an Empire State Building. Can you believe how tall it is. The Dogs even new we wernt in Kansas anymore. I have never seen anything like it.

This is as we entered and had to pay another toll. All these people think of is money money money. Their was a sign that said no picturesBUT I had to prove I was their. I did hide my camera after I took it.
This is ground O. We couldnt see any more then you can. Their is a chainlink fence up and a black cloth so you cant see. We never did get to the other side of where the Twin Towers stood (have you ever driven in NYC). We were proud of our selves for finding this side. You see the buildings in back ground well they are BIG no I want you to understand BIG! This is a whole nother world. Anbd I dont want to live their.
We went to the Statue of Liberty first. Not as big as I thought it would be. This is my first time on the Blog so be patient with me. After we left the Statue then we headed for New York City. Did you know The Statue of Liberty was in New Jersey? I thought it was in NY. History wasn't my thing.
This is heading for the Holland Tunnel. Was I ready to do this? I guess so because I had no choice at this point. So here we go. Hope you enjoy New York City.
