These 3 Guinea's stay at Donna's all the time. And man can they make some noise!!!!!
The 2 dark one's are called Pied Guinea and the other just a White Guinea. They are not marked like a Wild Guinea, so they must belong to someone around her, but they sure do like to roost at her house.

Took Molly to the Beauty Shop and when I picked her up, she was beautiful but they put BOWS in her hair!!!! When I went in to get her and saw her I just couldn't stop laughing at her. She has bows!!!!! She isn't a Poddle!!!! This was taken when we got home and she was already shaking them out.

This is a Log Home we looked at. We both love it, but after looking at the cost of a REAL Log home we had to back up and rethink it. Insurance would have killed us and the other problems that a Real Log home can have, we had to back away!!! I would have lived in the room with all the Glass, you could see the Lake through the trees. I know the Lord has something out there for us we just have to be patient!!!

Fire at State Park Gulf Shores June 2011

Filler up please!!!! We have a job to do!!!

This was our first knowledge of Fire in State Park. We had just left the Marina and was driving in area and saw it in the distance. Was concerned because I knew it was in our direction just a little south, but it was time to go check it out.

This was the sight from RV Park.

Bridge from Beach Express going into Orange Beach. The Bridge at end became engulfed in smoke. This was as close as we could get all road around the area was closed off.

This was taken the next day, the fire became a controlled burn to get rid of the downed trees from last Hurricane.

These Helicopters were so fascinating to watch!!!! This was a OOPS!!!! it lost all the water it picked up. There was several of them and they worked so hard to keep the fire under control. Thank goodness they did a great job and no houses or businesses were damaged other than smoke!!!

As you are going to see I was very carried away with George Barber's Marina!!! It was so beautiful and manicures to a tea. It is huge to say the least and if you are in Gulf Shores it is so worth the drive. I cant wait to go back!!

This is the Building with offices a Deli and his antique boat motors. And of course the sales office for the Boats and Motors for sale...

Beautiful statues are every where, this place is 1000's of acres and they are from the time you come in..

I would say this place is a work in progress. These are going all the way around a Island (ground island) that you drive around to go to the Offices.

This is a walking and bike trail in Orange Beach. We took our Bikes and rode a lot of the trail till I got sick from the heat!! We wanted to go back but the Big
Fire down here closed the trail.

This little fellow was way too friendly, cute but he would come right up too you and it was just way too close for me.

This is the Butterfly Pavilion.. It is all screened in and has picnic tables inside, so take a lunch with you on trail and you can go in and eat. There are also bathrooms here.

Lots of places to set along the trail. It is really nice. The only problem is they are in the SUN!!!!

Jacob Ware ( no I didn't spell it wrong) He was feuding with the family and deiced to change the spelling.

November 25, 1790 - March 8, 1872

Don't know why Nancy has Wear spelled right on her marker.

Pleasent Daniel Wear. He is one of the grandfathers that our Daniel was named after. He has 2 markers here in this Cemetery and a marker in Pigeon Forge at the Park along with his wife. So I don't really know where he is. Hummmm!!!!

This house was right on the property. It also has a chair on the porch. I figured it must have been the place they cooked the food for the house next door. But the article never mentioned it.

This historical landmark was first constructed in 1863, totally destroyed by fire in 1898, rebuilt in 1900. First hotel in State to have running water and electric lights. HOTEL SHELBY - "ALABAMA'S OLDEST" - SHELBY, ALABAMA

Moon on the rise. Regions Park

The moon was so beautiful coming up over the ridge.

We were out for a drive and we were stopped at a Railroad crossing. The Arms went down and the train got there and when the Engine got just across the road it STOPPED. and we sit and sit.
Two got off the train and two got out of the cab all with duffel bags and swapped places. Now we are out in the country not at a Train station. So CSX paid Birmingham Cab company to drive down near Chelsea, Alabama to swap shifts.

Then once they were all swapped the cab drove in front of the truck and went back toward 65. And we sat and sat for he train to get going and it was a looooong train. Something you don't see every day. Train shift change!!!

On Friday we deiced this would be our last time to be able to eat Breakfast before we leave. After we ate he told me that he would take me to see the Snow in the Mt's.

The Snow was here Yesterday, not today. So we kept driving up.

This was in the Chimneys Picnic area. Man is that some cold water.

The Chimneys. I have been there with a Camera and no film. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

That is the tip top and it is so cold no one is there.

No snow but we found Ice.

As we came into Gatlinburg these sack chairs were lining both sides of the road. The Christmas Parade is tonight. We heard there was close to 80,000 people in downtown Gatlinburg to see the parade. I know two that were NOT there.

This is a house on 411 going toward Knoxville. I saw it grabbed Camera as we flew by, I want to get a better picture but doubt it will be this trip.

The Snow on the Mountains was so beautiful.

I took this one out the back window. I have to snap quick sometimes, my driver doesn't understand Kodak Moments!!!! But I still think it turned out pretty good.

It Was Time!! Greenbrier Here We Come!!!

It was time to go to Greenbrier, one of our favorite places in the Park.

We picked up a Subway and I took fruit, chips and water with us for a freezing picnic lunch on Sat after Thanksgiving

We parked where this is what we looked at and listened too.

We left Greenbrier and drove toward Cosby. Double click on the picture and you can see Snow on the Mtns.

We kept driving and decied to go to I-40 and just make a big loop home.

We ended up taking 411 just to do something different and boy did we find something we had no clue was here. And I'm not talking about the Barn.

It was just a Big Red Barn and had to add it in.

When we saw the sign we thought OK distribution. Well is was the Bush Plants and a wonderful Welcome Center.

We had a lot of fun going through and seeing all the old cans and all their Christmas decor. They also have a film you can watch on the history of Bush. We didn't have time to do that because it was 45 min before it started and we had been gone a long time already. Next time!!!!!

Daniel and Tonya came back to Pigeon Forge to spend Thanksgiving with us.

The Ducks wanted a Thanksgiving Meal also!!!

We convinced Tonya they she could feed them out of her hand.

Ok that was fun I want more food.

I think she has a friend for life.

Hum Birds are fickle, Daniel is now best friend.

This is in Sevierville , we were trying to get out of traffic and going on a back road, you never know what is just around the corner.

Another one of our adventures.

I wanted to have a Picnic with a view and or by the Little Pigeon. This wasn't what I had in mind. We put our blanket down on the other side of the sign, hey it gave us something to lean up against.

Ok we did have a view and it wasn't crowded with people. I don't think there were even Wild life around.

One of the thousands well maybe hundreds of Wedding Chapels.

There was a House for sale across the street behind me. This is the View. Wow!!!! Sonny said I could have it!!!!! It was Sold.

And we thought we missed the color.

I could never find all these places again. We have been up and down so many roads, all I could say is it is that way!!!!!

You are going to have to bear with me, I do love these Old Barns.

If you live in Guntersville you need a Truck (its a status thing) but if you live up here in Pigeon Forge in Wear's Valley you have to have a Old Barn on the property.

This Barn you would have to jump in from the road and climb out!!!!

We took this road and it just kept going up and up and up.

When I took a breath and looked over there was a vacant house and this is the view out the back. After my heart settled down I decided I could live here. Then I got back in the car and we had to go down and down and down. I decided it was too far to Walmart.

Ya know!!!!! Well I could get use to a cup of coffee a comfy chair and this view every morning.

I can tell you the Lord took care of us, because we were right in the middle of it. This was what we saw when we opened the door at 3:30 this morning. Gas leaking from grill, every flower pot in many many pieces and the plants were every where. But we are fine and the Coach is fine. We rocked and rolled and sound like a destruction zone out side. I was hanging on to the door in the hall. Sonny trying to get dressed, the girls circling my feet scared with all the noise and lightning.

Our poor fence did survive, thank goodness and so did my Fall Pumpkin. Not a flower of leaf touched. These things are so strange what it gets and what it doesn't. It and my prize cactus was the only thing not to be twisted turned or broke. Thank you Lord for sparing them too.

Sonny managed to crawl out the door and go the gas tank off the grill to stop it from leaking. He picked up a few things and then we came in till daylight.

This is the pet cow. She follows you ever where. Her mother died in delivery and this one was bottle feed. She is just like a large dog.

Now to the Turkeys. This guy is way to proud of himself!!! He knows he is beautiful and shows you.
