Botanical Garden in Hospital

There was waterfalls in the foliage. This is right out side the Cafeteria where you set to eat.

Fossil State

This is in the 66 gas station that we go through to get to the RV Park, hello. Kansas is known as the Fossil State and all up the interstate you see fossil stakes in the fence rows. Didn't know what they were till we got here.

Bird in Question

Sorry I don't know what he has to do with the price of fish but he is my landmark to the Hays exit. So he is a good bird, because one morning I went to the hospital and it was still dark and he guided my way.

Victoria, Kansas

On our way back to the RV Park after we went to the Hospital and saw Wanda and Robert, we turned at the Victoria exit and found the Church. I'm sorry its a Cathedral and it is on Cathedral Street.

Gorham, Kansas

This is one of the exits between us and the hays exit. You can always see the Church steeple in the mist of the village.
Ok can you see it? It has two steeples and I don't know how but I got to get there. The sign at the exit says Victoria. Ok here I come.

HELOOOOOO

Don't you just want to stand out there and see if you holler and it will come back. Well not in this life time.
We have arrived in Russell, Kansas where we are going to be till Robert is out of the hospital. We are 28 miles from the hospital and this is really the closest we can get. I know Bobby there was the one called The Sunflower RV park. Well NOT!!!!

Sleeping Dogs

Sonny drives I take pictures and they sleep
Road kill soon. He is on the interstate.

Not Alabama Power

Needs to be Alabama Power but we would have to use humidity instead of wind to make power.

Grain Buildings

Lucy is checking out the scenery. The large building in the background was all over Kansas. They are huge and they are where all the sunflower seed and Milo goes.
The USA is HUGE!!! Its like the energizer bunny is goes and goes.

Milo

This is where all of our bird seed comes from. There are fields and fields of Milo and Sunflowers. The sunflower season is over, I am so sorry we didn't get to see all those Sunflower Heads standing up. This plant called Milo was pretty too.

Fort Riley in Kansas

Countryside

Try pulling in the Bird in. He was huge. Wish I could tell you what he was. Another picture Sonny couldn't believe I got, he wanted to know what I was trying to take and he just got in the way. I gave him a dirty look.

I wish all the different shades showed up better try clicking on the picture to make it bigger may help.
I only have one word for that outside temperature, YES!!!!!!!

The Land of OZ

Hey Toedo we are back in Kansas.

Kansas Country Side

Topeka, Kansas

This farm was one of many beautiful ones along the Interstate.

This is Topeka and the Capital Building of Kansas.

Kansas

Welcome to Kansas

You know we have some strange Churches in this country.

So I like Tall Buildings

Last of Missouri. About a mile from here and we will be in Kansas. Here we come Hays.

Kansas City, Missouri

Well that building looks like the one King Kong climbed.

Shamu a Snack

Share the road with Motorcycles, ok. Here cycle cycle Shamu is hungry and needs a snack. They don't wear helmets here so they are just asking to be roadkill.

I-70 East Bound Shut Down

The Lord is still protecting us. Thank you Lord. And besides this would have been a major slow down for us. I thanked the Lord again and prayed no one was hurt. The other 18 wheeler was on its side over the bank.

Sunflowers in Missouri

The Sunflower should be the State flower here but its not it is Kansas State Flower, but the Interstate is just beautiful with them.
