This is the Worship Center. The building in the lower right hand corner is The family Life Center.

The Crystal Cathedral

We drove to the Crystal Cathedral here in Anaheim. The grounds are so beautiful and the sculptures are wonderful the next few pictures will be of them.

This it one of 75 to 100 Orange Trees that look just like this.

The building behind us is Club House and the Pool. This Place is immaculate. the dog area is Carpet, for them to go to the bathroom. Its artificial grass. The Dogs love it. Every spot has a Orange Tree with Oranges you can pick. They are wonderful. We also have a Lime tree but the Limes on it are still hard.

This is Angel Statium, its only about 1/4 mile from us.

We are here. Will be at park just up this road.

Well maybe the next corner.

Its got to be around the next corner!!

We are getting closer to Orange, when do the Mts go away. We are in California land of Stars and Beaches. Ok where are they??

We have started the climb before we descend down into the Valley of Orange, CA

This is in Barstow, CA. these grids are half again as big as what you see. Looks like some kind of power source. This is where we leave I-40 and hit I-15.

I have to say it is desert looking. Except for the Mts in the background and this funny looking white thing sticking up out of the ground. It is the second one we have seen. the first one was after we left Carlsbad Caverns.

See the light part just before the mountain, it looks just like water and i can saw that if I was walking out here I would head straight for it. But it is sand not water, I have now seen a mirage. It is so understandable why someone would walk that far because it glistened just like water.

Every corner was the same but different.

Now does this look like a Desert to you?

We have seen a lot of things we didn't expect it to look like but I guess this was one of the biggest surprise. i thought the Desert was a Desert. I mean nothing but flat ground with nothing but tumble weeds. What a surprise. Mountains and more Mountains all around us. Now it isn't any place you would want to live but it isn't just flat as far as you can see.

We left early because we have the Mohave Desert in front of us. There is a 26 mile climb that is hard enough on RV in the cool you don't want to have to go across in the heat of the day if you can help it.

This is the KOA. The flowers and spots were very nice.

We are on Route 66 going to the KOA here in Needles.

Proof we are here!!!!

We are now crossing the Colorado River and now we are in California.

A curve yes and the Mts. are back. Not in CA yet.

We are back on I-40 heading for Needles, CA. Miles and miles of nothing.
