Our Day in The Rain!!!

 We drove over to the Fairhope pier and it had let up for a bit so we decided to walk out  so glad we did!!

 Not too many fishing in the rain!!! But the pelican was waiting on what hand outs he could get!!

 He let me walk right up to him!!

 He decided that black thing in front of my face wasn't going to hurt him!!

We Knew he caught something big, but we none had any idea what he was going to pull in. He got so worn out he passed the rod to someone else to help in pulling it in!!! By the time the third person took over the catch was getting tired and they were able to reel in closer and closer till we saw a big splash!!!

Every one was hollering it is a Red a Big Red!!!!

And sure enough is was a Red Fish. when they got it too the pier they couldn't get him up he was so heavy. They tried putting a noose around him but ( I could have told them that wasn't going to work) to no avail. So while they worked holding him as best as they could someone ran and got a gaff hook. It started raining and I wasn't going to ruin a camera on a fish, but i did get pictures of him!!!

Hope they got him in or he will be truly the Big one that got away!!!! I have confidence they got him in!!!

We left there and went home let the girls out  then went to eat Chinese, then out to Barbers Marina!!!!

Sonny had read George Barber has added a new exhibit!!! He didn't tell me about it or what we were going to see!! You can't imagine how
big this thing is!!!!!

We left Barber's and Ron wanted to at least get to see the Beach, so we drove over the toll bridge to Orange Beach then went to the State park Fishing Bridge to walk down to the beach.

These are the Flags we have seen most of our time down here!!! That Double Red Flag!!!! Never Green. But Yellow or a single Red Flag!!!! All we were allowed to put in was our toes!!!!

3rd and 4th of July, Fairhope 2013

 We went looking for the best place to see the Fireworks here in Fairhope when the Davenports get here. Well this wasn't the place but couldn't resist the shot!!!

 We found a place that turned out great. Not far from the Pier and had a show watching boats launch.

As you see the birds are ready for the show, they got their front row seat.

 The view from where we are sitting and that is the pier they will be shot from. Wow Sonny did good!!!The Van on the pier looks like a rescue vehicle if any thing goes wrong.

 That is where they are going to shoot from!!!! Ok ready for the show to begin!!!!

 I'm ready too!!! On with the show or he could be saying look at all those crazy people!!!!

 Boats and more boats!!

 They kept setting these things off right at us. Ron thought it was a UFO!!!!! Well that is what he kept telling me it was!!!

 I had so many settings on Camera wrong that nothing was working and couldn't get them fixed!!!

 Well all i can say it what i did shoot is colorful!!!

 First one on tripod!!! This one I took after I threw it in the Bay!!!!!

 I wish I could say I jumped in and got it and tried again but NO just my shaking hands!!

I lighten this one so you could see this dude going out in the dark to watch with the boats!!! No reflectors or a light, CRAZY!!!!!!

Now how pretty is that!!!! What a way to end the day!!!!

We got here about 7, we ate hamburgers and the girls ate french fry's!!! The sun was huge and a ball of red fire!!!

 Just about to say goodbye for this day!!!! We have had a full day and so have the girls!!!

 Our time here is closing in and we both sure will miss it. Fairhope is a wonderful place to visit and live. Everyone is so friendly and when you can go in a Big Lots and have a party at the front of the store just being silly, well its a place for me.

They were way to interested in kids, dogs, birds, people and Lucy petrified of the water behind her to pay attention too me. HELLO!!!!

Our Day at The Beach!!!!!

 It was going to be a nice day of playing in the water and relaxing under an umbrella!!!!

 OK first my major cutie on the beach!!!!  Is she just too cute!!!

 JELLY FISH!!!!!!! 100's were taken out while we watched!!!

They never stopped and they weren't the only ones. The only people for the most part that ever got in the water had buckets or a net!!! And the one that did go in were getting stung and decided to get out!!!

This is the beach one way, see how many are in!!!

 And this is the other way, everyone just standing around watching them being caught.

So if you can't swim and need entertainment , you feed the birds or

 You have some one bury you in the sand or

 Lay there waiting to be next to be buried or

You make sculptures in the sand, This guy made the prettiest  Cross, but I got up to go get a picture and he didn't like the way it looked and was starting over when we were leaving.
