This was a Mexican Parade in Downtown Manhatten all trafic is stopped then they let a few cars through the parade is spaced so the police can let a block of cars through. This picture is looking down Broadway. What a site.
Looking down the street is Rochfellow Center and Radio Center, That is where NBC is at that time I didnt know until I looked at pictures on PC that is where we were. Will know better if there is a next time.
Another side of the Empire State buliding. This is a Market to buy (The local A & P) grocerys and from what i could see it looked like it would have all the grocerys that you would want to carry in your hand or a rolling cart.
