You say I am never in any of the pictures, well here I am in my element 15 degrees Ice everywhere and I love it.

We left and went to the General Jackson and they let me drive the steamboat yea right.
And this is the General Jackson.
Then the finality was the Nativity. It was a site to see . Unreal how it was done with such detail. It doesn't show up as to the degree of detail that was put into each person and animal.

isn't she pretty? If you are ever in Nashville at Christmas this is something to see. O yes DRESS WARM.
Yes you guessed it, it is all Ice. Sonny is the conductor.
Here I am as the passenger.

All Ice!
But it looks good enough to eat but a bit of advise don't stick out your tongue because in 15 deg- NOT Smart.
I loved this Swan, he was so pretty.

Sonny is coming down a slide on Ice. The only thing that saves you from going right on out the door is the red carpet you slide on to and yes I did it toooo.

We are sitting on a ICE Bench, thank goodness they had a pad on it. That is a waterfall behind us but it doesn't show up.

Sonny has a new love. Dolly Parton!!!
Well I am back. We are in Nashville at the Ice Show. Every thing is made of Ice. Except Sonny and he is now a popsicle. They had a parker for every one that goes in and believe me you don't want to go in without it. I didn't button it up as we were going through the door and when 15 degrees hits you, you decide its time to button up.

The flowers are ice. Its hard to believe that every thing you see is Ice.

Sorry it is on its side but I had to show you this Hotel. You see the street light well 6 windows down their is a man on a rope NO platform just a harness that you can see coming over the top of the building between the H and O in Hotel. That fruit loop is washing windows. He was on the other side when we left this morning and we got by before I could take a picture.

On our way home I took several shots of downtown Dallas. When you see the airplane, well there is never a time of day or night that you can look in the Dallas Fort Worth area and not see a plane and most of the time it is 3 to 9 or 10. They have a lot more sky than we do so they can have more planes. Guess what color my hair is!!

We drove off as a truck was coming out and locking the gate back and Amo was back in her chair.
This is across the street from the compound and as far as you can see is land and more land ( I think that's California in the distance lol). This gate is for the house across the street. Don't think it has anything to do with the Dividians.
This is Amo Paul Bishop Roden. She is a mainstream Branch Davidian. 90% of the Davidians believe that David Koresh to be satanic. They were called Branch Davidian Seventh Day Adventis and they look forward to the imminent return of Christ. Amo sits out side of the gate across the street and will talk to you and tell you all she knows, she has all this literature to give you on the coverups and conspiracy. Her Husband was killed and her home was burned down twice and truck destroyed, she now rides a bicycle and lives with her sister. I would say she is from the world of the Old testament. She isn't a part of the David Korish clan. Because she left and told her story is why they came after her. Amo says there is no dout that David is still alive. He had 6 hours that he knew what was going to happen and get all him ducks in a row. It was very interesting to talk to her and see where a part of history (bad as it was) took place. I thought I would see half burned buildings but none of that is there. Trees and green grass. And small homes around. No big compound.
This is where the Branch Davidian compound was. The White Building and red portapotty is standing on the spot where it was. The tunnels are still underground and the followers of David Koresh are still there and believe he is coming back to lead them. It is all behind this chainlink fence a gate and lock.

This is in Waco, Tx. We drove down to Temple, Tx to get a part for the Motorhome and on the way back we drove around in the town of Waco.
On Wednesday night we went to Grapevine, Tx and they have a Gaylor Texan. It is similar to the big Gaylor Opry Land Hotel in Nashville. We thought they would be decorated and have the lights on. You pay 8.00 just to park and go in and walk around. We thought we would get our moneys worth because we would see all the Christmas decorations and we thought we would eat supper there. HELLO!! It was decorated but the lights were not on and one of the eating establishments had a menu out front 125.00 per person. Now I don't know what that included, may be a mink coat. But I already have one and no one cooks a steak that good. So we walked around and went back to our car. When we got to the parking booth to pay the man wanted to know how and when did we come in. We told him about 30 min ago. The time was so short it didn't register. He raised the gate and told us to have a good night. We did took our 8.00 and went and had supper. Hot wings!!!!
This is a wild flower of Texas. They call it Cactus. I call it flower from !!!!!!. It grows wild and every where. The side of the road (need a flat tire) on the railroad tracks, in the pastures, poor animals. This stuff is awful, just thought you need to see this. They could put a prison in the fields take their shoes away and they would stay put.

This is Ponder, Tx. Yes just about the only thing there. We were told about this place to eat (road trip) that was out in the country. So we decided to fined it. It opened in 1948 and has been in same spot ever since. I had Quail for lunch Sonny had the special. Which was roasted pork and 3 vegetables. We got desert which is all homemade. Pies and Cobblers. When we went to pay the owned ask if this was our first time, Sonny told him we came all the way from Alabama to eat here and he gave us our desert free and they make soap and he gave me a bar. So I guess it was worth the trip. I love the sign on the wall 5.00 dollar charge for winning and all unattended children will be sold as slaves, and there is no smoking in the building. All food is prepared as you order. Even saw them cut my potato for the home fries that come with your Quail. To get a bake potato you have to call ahead because of the time it takes to cook. No nucking food in this place. All fresh how odd. Hope they don't get into the 21st century.
This is the Courthouse in Denton, Tx. We went to First Baptist Denton on Sunday. Dr. Jeff Williams is the Pastor. On our way back we drove through downtown Denton and this is in the square of the town.
I have no clue who Brad Paisley is but have friends who do . This is right in front of the office at the RV Park where we are staying. They needed a place to park this thing while Brad was in Nashville winning awards for something.

Welcome to Texas!!! We are in Denton, Tx and have been here for a week now. As you can see its flat well I guess flat is the word for it, you can see, lets say you are in Birmingham and can see Montgomery, well that's Texas. They have more sky than we do, well every thing here is bigger. We could build 50 houses in the medium of a exit. It take a hour to go anywhere. Let me tell you how big this place is. BIG!!!!!
This is the Motor Speedway where the Race this week end was. We drove over on Friday and the place was packed with Motor Homes. They paid 150.00 for a spot just big enough to sit on and NO hooks ups. That means no electric power and NO POTTY. You have to be self contained to function. So you have to use your own propane, gas, water and holding tanks. What a killing. Why didn't I think of that. A day late and a dollar short.
