Nor'easter Freehold, New Jersey

Don't try to focus, that is how heavy the yes SNOW was yesterday Monday April 16, 2007. Not sure about our scheduling. We were in Hurricane Charlie in Orlando. A Tornado in Boston. A Major heat wave in Dallas and now a Nor'easter in Freehold. They are each so powerful in their own way and the saying Been there and done that and don't want to do it again. It is so true.
Oh yes the Ice and Snow in Indiana. Now that is enough and we didn't get the tee shirt.

The Russian Orthodox Jewish Church

I told Sonny I had something to show him. So I drove and said OK look over here and his reply was, O my.

Were Not in Baptist Country Anymore

This is about 5 miles from us. I was in the local Walmart and I saw all these people in Black and wasn't sure what they were. The next day after I told Sonny about them i drove back down this way and I found out what they are. A whole community.
This is the largest of the two structures. This was over the Door and you can tell me what it says.
The two structures look like the came right out of Aladdin's Lamp.
This Structure was across the street from the what we think is the main building. Maybe this is the student union building (lol).

We should have known where they are from when we saw the Russian Fur Hats.

This was on Saturday Morning they were on their to their church or that is how it seemed. In the next picture some are going one way and some going the other way. I know they are confused but give me a break.

Don't know what is special about this robe because he isn't the only one we saw with one on.

Princeton University

This is enough of Princeton I will move on. I just wanted you to see a part of this lovely campus.

These next few pictures are on the Campus of Princeton. These arch ways are how you go from building to building with beautiful courtyards between. There were men working and landscapers everywhere.
All the building are different but yet the same. Each beautiful in its own right. All the ornate trimming on the buildings is extraordinary.

One of my Favorite

The Campus is build with all building making a courtyard.

This is First Baptist Princeton and that is their Sanctuary that is used every Sunday. Not quite First Baptist Pelham. But I loved seeing it and the shutters are closed

.

This is the Main Hall on Campus. We walked all over the campus, it is Old Buildings but each one is so beautiful
As we were coming home this is what was waiting for us. What a welcoming committee.

Barnegat Lighthouse

Your guess is good as mine. We got off the pkwy and on a little road taking us to Long Beach Island and this was in someones front yard. Just what every one would want.

This is Barnegat Lighthouse in The State Park in Barnegat on Long Beach Island. Try saying that three times.

Another view going down a side street. The tall part is the Hotel right on the Ocean. I bet the top floor is Donald's. In fact I think he owns most of Atlantic City. His name is on a lot of the Casinos/Hotels.
I know you heard about the Gov. of NJ. This picture was taken about two hours before he left Atlantic City going home and had a wreck right here on this road. I didn't cause it, I promise.
Sonny was driving. We are on The Garden State Parkway heading to see another lighthouse.

Taj Mahal

another shot. I cant believe I have this, I am holding the movie camera and this camera and Sonny is driving and pushing the button on this camera. You would think this is our first time to the big city.
See the sign, we were there on Wednesday, but I was able to reach through the fence and still get pictures.

To get the whole thing I did have to get the fence in this one.
This is Ballys Hotel and Casino, I never heard of this one but was quite impressive on the main drag through Atlantic City.

This is the one that blew me away. I have never seen anything like it. Trumps Taj Mahal. Going under the sign you drive right under all this glitter under the building for the Bell Man in his suit and white gloves to open the door and take your luggage in. We just smiled and waved.

Atlantic City

This is Caesars Place in Atlantic City.

Looking downtown Atlantic City.

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse

Doesn't this look like fun? Sorry it wasn't open. Bummer. This was In Wildwood not to far from the Hereford Lighthouse.

This is the Light House not sure what good it would do because you sure couldn't see it from the water. It may be used for high flying Boats.

Cape May

This is Cape May at the entrance to the Delaware Bay in Cape May State Park.

We are out on the beach looking back and the house with the red roof is right on the tip.
This is so i can remember it is Spring and not the dead of Winter.

This is along the Garden State Parkway on our way to Cape May.
Now you have been at Princeton with me. Hope you learned a lot.

All the buildings have that tree thing on them.
All these buildings are right next to each other and in the Campus.

All the buildings look similar to these Two Churches that are part of the Campus
