Merry Christmas From The Girls in Pigeon Forge 2010

At the Pigeon Forge Christmas Shop!!!!

Choo Choo!!!!!!!

Lucy, Daddy told you to go before we left.

Telling Santa what they want for Christmas.

Church Jim Grey Painted

We drove to it yesterday, but when we go there the battery in camera was dead. So we made a return trip to get a picture.

Snow on The Smokey Mountains

Look close and you can see the Mtn. with Snow on it.
By the time I snapped the next picture clouds moved in covering the Mtn.

She Made it!!!!!

Daddy, I made it!!!! Go faster, I told you I could do it.

Woke Up To Snow On Sunday Morning.

I looked out my bedroom window and this is what I saw.

It is a blizzard!!!!

I told the Devil to get behind me, we are going to Church. This is our last Sunday here and we don't want to miss.

This is what I looked at on the way to Church.

I am sorry my pictures are not great because I tried to take them in manual with no tri pod.

It was beautiful inside with all the Poinsettia's, the tree light and the Choir.

This is Dr Nelson Price, the Interim Pastor.

This is in the Baptistery. It is beautiful also. With the Tree you really cant see it, so after Church I walked around so I could get a picture of it.

I realized how bad my pictures were so I walked back in but they had turned the lights off.

This Is Called Breakfast!!!

On Friday we deiced this would be our last time to be able to eat Breakfast before we leave. After we ate he told me that he would take me to see the Snow in the Mt's.

The Snow was here Yesterday, not today. So we kept driving up.

This was in the Chimneys Picnic area. Man is that some cold water.

The Chimneys. I have been there with a Camera and no film. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

That is the tip top and it is so cold no one is there.

No snow but we found Ice.

More cold water in Picnic Area.

I couldn't resist taking about 50 snaps. I had to try and get a drip.

Almost!!!!!!!!!!

Am I good or what, lol. I got it!!!!!!

Sonny pretending he didn't pick up a rock!!!!!!!
You wont see many of me. Many many reasons.
As we came into Gatlinburg these sack chairs were lining both sides of the road. The Christmas Parade is tonight. We heard there was close to 80,000 people in downtown Gatlinburg to see the parade. I know two that were NOT there.

OPPS!!!

This Couple were on their 46th Wedding Anniversary. They drove out to Cades Cove and a tree fell across the truck. Crushed the roof and windshield. This is one they wont forget.

Snow on The Smokey Mountains

This is a house on 411 going toward Knoxville. I saw it grabbed Camera as we flew by, I want to get a better picture but doubt it will be this trip.

These are taken from the Alcoa Airport Highway to Sevierville.

The Snow on the Mountains was so beautiful.

I took this one out the back window. I have to snap quick sometimes, my driver doesn't understand Kodak Moments!!!! But I still think it turned out pretty good.

They look so furry.

Those darn poles!!!!

Hope you have enjoyed our day. We did.

It Was Time!! Greenbrier Here We Come!!!

It was time to go to Greenbrier, one of our favorite places in the Park.

We picked up a Subway and I took fruit, chips and water with us for a freezing picnic lunch on Sat after Thanksgiving

We parked where this is what we looked at and listened too.

We left Greenbrier and drove toward Cosby. Double click on the picture and you can see Snow on the Mtns.

We kept driving and decied to go to I-40 and just make a big loop home.

We ended up taking 411 just to do something different and boy did we find something we had no clue was here. And I'm not talking about the Barn.
It was just a Big Red Barn and had to add it in.

When we saw the sign we thought OK distribution. Well is was the Bush Plants and a wonderful Welcome Center.

We had a lot of fun going through and seeing all the old cans and all their Christmas decor. They also have a film you can watch on the history of Bush. We didn't have time to do that because it was 45 min before it started and we had been gone a long time already. Next time!!!!!

This was one of the old delivery trucks.

Inside the Bush store. I bought a couple of cans for supper and it was cheaper than at Kroger.

I loved this Mantle

And the Table decor

OK discrimination, NO Sheltie or Dashound anything!!!!!!

2 Christmas Trees right next to each other. I do miss all my Trees.

WOW now that is a can!!!!!!

Not me, I have never wanted to know how many beans I weigh. HELLO!!!! Not even the regular scales!!!!!!

Loved all the old cans.

No Sonny you can't play with the Trucks.

You have come a long way Baby!!

I guess I should have seen the movie on Bush Products because I don't know what a flying pig has to do with anything. Oh yea we don't watch commercials, so it could be part of Bushes commercials .

Too funny Red Beams to protect the Bush secret recipes. Funny but let me tell you I didn't touch the cabinet. I didn't want sirens to go off.

This is the Restaurant and gift shop all the pictures were taken in. The massive Plant is across the street. I don't have a wide enough lens to get a picture of it.

We are still out and on our way home and this Valley was so beautiful.

I know Cactus is Tennessee, who knew!!!!
