David and Tracy in Love

Stephanie is Tracy's sister in law and she did the pictures and all of hers are wonderful but this one is my favorite so far. How sweet!! My prayer is that they will always be this happy and in love.

This is all of us and I could just cry. Daniel our youngest son was hid behind a candle and David our oldest, the one getting married has two hallos on his face and it is my fault. Where David is standing there was a picture of Jesus hanging. I didn't want the picture there so I took it down and threw it behind the piano. I now feel like I was telling Jesus we didn't need Him and not to come to the Wedding, so He showed me and came anyway. I am so thankful He did and I have ask for forgiveness.

David has three and Tracy has three, they are now the Brady Bunch!!!

Ever Sleep in A Graveyard??

Looking at the front of the Church we set up on the right side, now we have a bathroom and water. Because the Church has NO facilities!!!! Molly, Lucy and Abbey had a ball running in the fields and the rain yes it rained all day of the Wedding , but the Lord heard our prayers and the rain stopped just before the Wedding.

I finally got the Bridal Bouquet's done. I think they turned out beautiful if I do say my self. Now on to the rest of the Flowers.

This is what I have to work with. Two Pianos a huge antique table no bathrooms and no steps on front of the podium. No closet and no trap doors to hide things in. Well I have my work cut out for me. O yes and two pulpits.

Pine Flat Presbyterian Church

This is where David and Tracy, (our Son) are going to be Married on October the 17. This is the Church that was in the movie The Big Fish. Its on highway 143 in Deatsville, Alabama.

Uh do you think you are a little low???? He wanted under the clouds, just hurry and get across the road, NOW!!! This is the end of this trip pictures. We made it home safe and sound with the answered prayer.

What a Night

We are pulling out of a night from Elm Street. See all the debre in the road. I have only been that scared once before in my life and that was when we were in Hurricane Charlie. I said then I never wanted to do that again. Ike missed us but the wind didnt. It would hit us and we would rock. There were many times I thought well this is it we are turning over, no my we can stay up right in this. I Prayed all night long and the girls were right in the middle of the bed with us. I would look at the cabinet in front of me and knew there was can goods in there and i could just hear it now Woman killed with a can of Salmon or Clam Chowder Soup. (in a RV you put stuff where you can and the cangoods are in the bedroom).

The Lord did take care of us and it is early afternoon, we couldn't get out till now because the wind gust were still to bad and wind advisories were out for Big Trucks and RVs. Telling us to stay off the road till it settled down. We are now going over the Mississippi into Memphis.

Something Wrong with This

Well Abbey is getting bigger and just about cant fit in Lucy's crate. I don't know how she can go in and turn around. The girls are getting ready for a peaceful evening and a good nights sleep and go home tomorrow. Big Suprise coming!!! They though the wind was bad this afternoon.

There are 3 or 4 of these Tree House Cabins. I just love it here and I do want to come back when a Hurricane isn't in the area.

The Mighty Mississippi

I feel like I have died and gone to Heaven. Anyone that knows me know I love the water and to be able to park Shamu right on it and be able to sit and just watch the Barge's go by, a breeze in my face, ice tea in one hand and the camera in the other, how much better can it be.

Wind Coming

Lucy isn't going to the bathroom, she is just trying to keep from blowing over. We think this is the wind we are going to have, think again.

Storm Shelter

Well I have keep you in suspense long enough, here it is Molly is right across from Shamu and you can see Sonny and Lucy and Abbey in the background with the wonderful Storm Shelter, what were we thinking. At what point do you decide to leave the inside of your Rig and go to a pipe, yea right.

West Memphis Arkansas

We have arrived at our home for the night, and what a night it was. Remember Ike is on its way. But we think we are far enough east to be out of the way. It's to late to keep going and we needed to get our state sticker for Arkansas ( like that was more important that our lives), Hellooo!!

When we checked in the Lady told us that the Mississippi hadn't flooded in so many years and the 40 to 60 mile an hour wind that is coming well it will be OK, don't worry. At this point I was fine we will be OK. She told us there was a storm shelter just passed our site and if we got worried go and get in THEM. I should have questioned further about them.

This is our spot and the coming storm went to the back of my mind, just look we are right on the River and have a seat to sit and just Meditate, I should have been Praying!!!!!
