The Arch at St Louis

Well this is the last picture I took on this trip. We are crossing the Mississippi. We made it all the way home from here. Needless to say a little sad it was over and a little weary from the long trip home.
I hope you have enjoyed our trip would love feed back on what you enjoyed the most. My wish is the Lord will give us the opportunity to be able to go back and see a lot of what we got to experience.

North of St. Louis to the Mighty Mississippi

The mighty Mississippi here is St Louis.

Missour River

Ok I can do this, Shamu is a Whale she should be able to swim.
We are making it.

The Pettigrew Home

There were several blocks of homes like this, loved all of them but they were just to big.

You have seen I can go to a town and not take a picture of a Church with steeples

Sioux City, South Dakota

We got to Sioux City to spend the night. We left RV Park and drove downtown.
This is The Minnehaha County Building. Love all the rock work.

Big Cow

You know there is just something wrong with this picture. I know things are big out here but this is kind of scary.
We are now back in civilization, I bet WalMart is somewhere close!!

The Ibis

I told Sonny I would follow him to the end to the world, well I guess this is it.
That's got to be a Big mower to cut all that.

We are at the end of the top picture, can you believe how big this part of the country is. I didn't know the whole USA was this big much less one State. Let me tell you South Dakota is one Big Place!!

Texas Longhorn in South Dakota

Out in this part of the country you never know what you are going to see next.

1880 Town in South Dakota

From Indians to a Stagecoach.
All that was leading to a orginal 1880 Town in South Dakota.

The Other Side

This is what is on the opposite side of the Interstate from The Bad Lands.
To answer the question are there still Indians, yes there is.

More Bad Lands

I know they begin to all look alike but they aren't and this is miles of scenery and vast land.

Wall Drugs

That is the original Drug store before they added and added.
We are back on the interstate and The Bad Lands.

Wall South Dakota

In my Travel Information a must see place is Wall Drugs in Wall, South Dakota. So being the curious person I am and Sonny feeling sorry for me because of the Bad Lands, and also it wasn't that far off the interstate. We went along with 1000's of our closest and best friends. This is much more than a Drug Store it a Everything store. I would call it a flea market with air conditioning. You go from one building to another through a wall where the original drug store has bought up building after building. Every kind of souvenir you would ever want, the only one I bought was across the street in a coffee shop, an iced frapichino . It was so hot! O yes They have a parking lot for semi's and RV to come and park in.

Bad Landsof South Dakota

My heart is beating so hard I want to go out there so bad I can't stand it.
If you enjoyed the pictures of The Castles in The Sky you also would love the Bad Lands.

Another World

See what I told you this is my very next picture. You go over a small knoll and this is what you see and the world behind you is gone.
There was a road I wanted to take through the Bad Lands, Hwy 240 but Sonny is now on a Bee Line Home. I cant complain we have seen some most incredible places and need to save some thing for next time.

Going Home

This is on Hwy 14A leaving Deadwood. See the trees, well you wont believe what is in about 10 to 15 miles up the road on I-90.
This is just after we got back on the Interstate 90 South in Sturgis. If you don't know about Sturgis just ask anyone that has a Motorcycle. I don't think there is a Biker out there that doesn't know about Sturgis.

When you are walking out to view the Monument you walk through the Isle of Flags. Every state is represented with the year it was admitted to the Union and the States Flag. Well guess who is the first one you see, that's right Sweet Home Alabama.

This picture is as we were leaving and over in the valley they are building this huge Lodge and will be a beautiful setting.

This is back down in Keystone. This is a statue of what is carved on the Mountain in Georgia.

Well as we leave Mount Rushmore we enjoyed our time here but it is now time to go home.
