Dutch Neck, NJ

This is he First Presbyterian Church Dutch Neck, and we think we have funny named towns.

This is Spring in the North. The Blonde has on a fur coat and the Lady with the flowers has on a wool coat. This is in Downtown Princeton. Does it count if you go through a University. If so I have several Degrees in something. I have been from Harvard to Princeton to Yale. Now that ought to count for something.
This is the Sea Grit Lighthouse.

This was Easter Sunday here at the park. They had a egg hunt for only 4 children and they each had their own field to hunt in. Couldn't believe all the eggs they had out for only 4.
Yes it is Snow. Thank goodness it didn't stick. I don't think its been out of the 40s since we have been here, except at night and well that is the 20s.

We went from Camp Swampy to Camp Sandy. This is right in front of us. We are buying our water to drink because its sulfur water and smells and taste awful. But it isn't a bad place. Nice and quite.
Still at Sea Grit same beach looking north up the beach. Lots of pretty sand.

From that I turned and looked straight out into he water and his is what was there. Wouldn't bring a Cruise Ship in here.

Sea Grit, NJ

We are now in Freehold, NJ at Pine Cone Resort. We drove over o Sea Grit to see beach and the Lighthouse. about in the middle of the picture you can see the Lighthouse. It is way off the beach, but its still a Lighthouse.

You would never know we are freezing to death. It was so cold. The chill factor had to be 15 below something.
This is the Delaware River you know the one George Washington crossed.

Can't be my picture taking, must be a dirty window. This is directly across form the first picture with boat. now you have seen both sides.
What a relief its not Camp Swampy Its Yogi Bears Home. As we went in we thought we had moved to the Hilton, it was paved and no Swamp. Then we registered and hey started taking us to our site. We left the pavement and we drove back and back and back further into the woods. I was beginning to think they were taking us back roads to WV. The first spot they put us on (now we are only their for one night) our jacks were not even high enough to level either of us, I looked at the Lady and said This wont do try again. So we go further back. We were able to level and there was a trail we walked out and saw Deer, so i was happy.

We have our Peach and they have a Tower painted with Apples all the way around. We must be more creative because ours even looks like a peach.

You have heard about the little white Church in the wild woods, well this is the little White Church in the Valley.
The Forsythia (Yellow Bells) was every where. We need to plant these on our Interstates.

This is very typical of the whole Tpke. Farm land and more farm land.
Shenandoah Valley After leaving Pipestem we drove up 81 to get on the Pennsylvania Tpke and these are some of the beautiful country side. Lots of Amish farms. It was Sunday as we drove through here and you could see the horse and buggy's pulled up to the door to get the family as they go to church.

The while you see on the Mt behind the silo, you got it Snow.

This is in Princeton, WV. Right downtown is the Train Depot.

Look at the street, it was so pretty. It is a huge circle.
Guess what this is? The one that ran in front of us.

More Deer in the park. They are everywhere.

Pipestem State Park

We made another trip to the Park and we saw Deer everywhere. I am still learning how to use a camera. There were about 20 in this field. I got out of the car and started walking toward them, that is what the back one is looking at.

Well its not everyday you see a Helicopter sitting on top of a truck, but we did. He is filling with some kind of chemical to spray in the Park. It was one of those Did you see that moments. Then he took off and we said did we see that.

The Dog House

Supposed to have all the convinces of Home except for a BATHROOM!
These Two pulled in Tuesday night and left Wednesday morning. Can you believe these things. I think who ever was building these things got busy doing something else and forgot to finish the other half. I hope they only paid half price. The White one is bigger than the Silver and Red one.
The silver one was parked right next to us. They are from Canada. I don't think Sonny and I could get in there at the same time. The Dog house is bigger than that thing. They told me their is a full MINI kitchen and a queen size bed in the Silver one, yea right. They were the size of Sonny and I, small people, LOL. You know there is no room for each to call, this is my space. These things are no bigger than a walk in closet. Fine to hide in if you are playing hide and seek, but not to live in. Even for a week end and they have been to Florida and heading home. Don't you know they will feel like they live in a mansion when they get home.

This is Judy isn't she cute. Well I think its a she. I don't see antlers.
This is a Home for something. I might not want to know. Where I walked out to take the photo of Mts. I was on a deck and as I turned to walk back this is just over the edge. I didn't take time to take the long distance lens off just snapped and left.

This is some of our new friends we meet at park. There was three but the other one was camera shy. This is in the park also we saw 6. But the first ones by the time I got my camera on the car stopped Molly to stop barking and Lucy off her Daddys head, well they were history.

Pipestem State Park

Monday afternoon we went to Pipestem SP which is just a mile up the road. It is beautiful there. This is a couple of views from the highest pull off. Sorry I don't know Elevation, somewhere around 2600 Ft. Just look at the different elevations. Would you say we are in the Mts.

This is a little information of the Bridge. You can double click on any of the pictures to make them bigger.

Please pray for us we have three days of rain coming at us to start tonight. They say not all day each day BUT SOME. And this place doesn't need any. There is a pontoon boat just over from us. And I am keeping my eye on it. Till next time God Bless each of you.

Another walk out.

You can see the railroad to the right of picture.

This is called New River Gorge Bridge. I am going to have trouble going West this is only 2300 feet and we will be 7000 feet an more in some places. This was scary I WENT ACROSS THAT THING!!! O my it is a awesome thing. We are at the visitors center look out and maybe its good I couldn't see anymore than this because I had to go back across that THING.
There was spots along hwy 20 to stop and take pictures.

This is at the Grandview overlook. We aren't as close as it looks, using a Telephoto lens.
Went site seeing yesterday. We wanted to see New River Gorge. They say the name New River is not an accurate description because it may be one of the oldest Rivers in North America. It was inaccessible along the whole length until 1873 when the railroad this isolated part of WV.
Whitewater rafting is big business all along the river.
