Killdeer Update!!!!

We now have 2 eggs will we go for more? This is a small bird, give me a break!!

She is leading me away from her nest. She is acting like she is hurt. She will limp and then falls over and rolls. the first time I saw her do this when we first got up here and I felt so sorry for her I thought she was hurt. Silly me.

She is so pitiful.

Wow can you believe this. 4 I said 4 eggs. We think their is more than one laying eggs in this nest. They come and check on them but never really sit on them. There is 4 Killdeer and maybe more that seem to be attending this nest. They all look just alike, I can't tell the male from the female.
